Would you like this view? Hopefully, the answer is yes.
We’re very lucky that our accommodation has a river view. This is the River Wyre, in Hambleton, Lancashire, just 20 minutes from Blackpool. It’s a tidal river, so the landscape is always changing. This view can be seen from the master bedroom, lounge, dining room and kitchen. There is also a large decking area, with a table and chairs (in the warmer months), so guests can sit and enjoy the tranquil location and stunning view.
Our guests love to see the sheep, especially the lambs. From May onwards guests get to enjoy seeing the new born lambs with their mums. As they get more confident, you will see the evening ‘zoomies’, where the lambs run around the field together. Extremely cute. As the lambs grow older, they are usually separated from their mums, but we tend to keep the lambs in the field behind the chalet, so you will still get to enjoy seeing them. We’ve had many of our ewes since they were four days old. They all have their individual characters and some are better mums than others.
If you’re looking for accessible accommodation with a stunning view and in a tranquil location, we are perfect. For full details please see our website available here.
