It’s all about the view at The Estuary Riverside Chalets. We are very lucky to have amazing scenery at our holiday cottages in Hambleton. We are located just outside the village of Hambleton, set in a 10 acre field with stunning views of the River Wyre. This is a tidal river, so we benefit from a changing landscape. It is very tranquil, making it an ideal place to unwind.
We are walking distance to The Shovels Inn and The Lakeside Bistro. We are also located on the Wyre Way which is ideal if you like walking or cycling. The photos below detail some of the scenery and wildlife including a Buzzard, Hare, Heron, Pheasants and my pet lambs. We are also on the flight path for Blackpool Air Show so we benefit from seeing The Red Arrows and other planes from the show. On a winters day you can see Blackpool Tower. On Bonfire Night and New Years Eve the sky across the river will be lit up with a free firework display. The balcony is an ideal place to enjoy the displays.
