We are pleased to confirm that we have finally chosen and purchased a shower commode chair for The Estuary. As you know we offer accessible holiday accommodation that is wheelchair and power wheelchair friendly.
I have received some great feedback on the type of commode shower chair needed based on potential guests needs. One point included arms that fold back. This would allow an independent wheelchair user to be able to move from their wheelchair onto the commode shower chair.
Another point raised was that the chair needs to be able to fit over the toilet. Apparently not all of them do. I am pleased to confirm that the chair has moveable arms and fits over the wall hung toilets.
The chair is height adjustable, has castors with locking tabs, footrests that can be folded back, commode pan and removable seat pad.
We hope that this shower commode chair will be suitable for lots of guests.
